Yeah will doo soon as I get paid feels like an eternity lately,much of a job to fit at all? never tried yet! The exhaust is DISMAL I hate it the only reason its taken so long is because I've rounded the bolts on the cat. Friend text me though it should be on THIS WEEK so fingers crossed

Don't hate always wanted one and no I'm not a chav. Wanted one got one fitted fine and it seems fine hasnt effected how sweet my s14a runs at all idles/boosts/drives perfect so I'm happy especially reading other peoples troubles with them. I kept the recirc no doubt I'll get bored and that will be back on within a few months.

Hers the boost gauge holder Marc made for me couldn't be happier with that! Still havnt fitted it securly yet just in with some double sided tape but I think some type of glue will make it fit a little securly

and some BAD NEWs for me anyway I've been living here for like 8 years now so obviously in and out of my drive ALOT. Had a few cars and I even have the use of my step-dads Jaguar XF which is a bit bigger than a S14a anyway this happened

Just came back from the gym this morning turning in as I would(obviously I didn't) and I scraped the wall with my bumper DUH. Not happy at all Its literally took the paint off and the plastic is hardly damaged or scraped so I bet a smart repair would sort it out I hope. You can't see it very well but I know its there so

but now I'm part of the club that for YEARs my mum was the only member cause she can't drive at all and had bumped the wall countless times lol

Can't believe you still went ahead with the dump valve but somehow knew you were set on it

I think that Bride seat must be fake though as it doesn't have the obligatory holes in the bolster.

Did you not realize I left a hole for the wires to go through underneath the gauge pod dude or was it not big enough?

Small update got it in the air today had a quick look around solid as it should be no rot or crap yes!

Closer inspection shows my track rod ends are shot which explains the wheel wobble ever now and then Ive had my wheels balanced twice as some tyre monkeys couldnt do it right

to double check thats fine and everything else is fine and solid spigots bushes and such so I'm hoping thats its these!

Also I looked at the diff and theres an earth lead on the left hand side of it thats snapped basically whats that for? So will be replacing that tomorrow will get pictures. AND FINALLY the exhaust will be on tomorrow too! Pics tomorrow for everyone. WOOP!!!1111!!

They were totally FUBARED

They came off so easily so well happy with myself

The garage I goto only services and repairs bentleys and rollers so its a strange sight a rusty datsun amist them all

the warble they make on idle its so sick

And thats it had a mega blast in the car and everything is fine! touchwood

Roll on the 20th now for some much needed alignment

Also whats this earth strap for near the diff I forgot to replace it wont be a big job just wanna know what it does

TBH I wouldnt worry about the earth strap. I cut mine off years ago cos it had corroded and broke and prob 80% of all 200's have fecked earth straps on the subframe/diff.

I got the 6/5 rate ones and I think there pretty comfortable IMO and awesome could rave on about them all day top!

Thanks spice and md so that earth strap doesnt do anything? furthur up on the diff there is another earth strap onto it also. i'll get around to swapping it cause have loads of earth cable about

THIS IS IN TECHNICAL ALSO ( just wanted as many eyes as possible looking at it!)

So This has been bugging the HELL out of me so recorded it as I cant really describe it great
I hope theres someone who can say its this or that and I can fix it!

This only occured when coilovers and my Rotas were fitted They are Apex Gen2s and 18x9.5 Rotas. Was fine before as it was tottally standard

Now its not the arch scrubbing I eliminated that by testing it with and without arches.
Wheels are on securly and torqued properly
Coilovers are fitted properly and checked and double checked incase something worked loose
Calipers are secure although they are binding very slightly
Track rod ends were replaced as they were shot and noise persists
It occurs ONLY when I've driven say maybe 1-2 miles
Occurs when I full lock right half lock ANY lock no matter when I go right
Also happens slightly when turning left
Car pulls to the right slightly but I know my alignment is out going on the 20th for that
Wheels have been balanced and re balanced to check and thats fine
Spigots are in perfect condition and the mounting face is a.ok

Soo heres a video I shot on my phone hope you can hear it well

KAPOW! In the video its only happening when I turn right and not left on this occurence
I'll try get my car into a friend at a garage so we can have it in the air again just want it bloody sorted

Have you checked the pre loaded on the coilovers. Sounds to me like one of the springs could be vibrating slighlty.

First of all thanks for such a great response from everyone in the tech section

Got to it first thing this morning

no marks on the inner lip tyre was fine check lock both ways also
checked everywhere on the arch and arms for signs of rubbing and nothing.

got a good 7-8mm I guess there and no contact was being made on the coilover either as they were like new still. calipers tight and the dust shield was miles away as it should

Track rod ends werent fouling anything either as suggested

Sat back scratched my head and was about to

Saw what Spice mentioned today about the preload so looked closer at the preload rings and um they were lets say SPINNG FREELY. wf.

I checked them all prior to fitting obviously not tightening that side as much never thought to check that anyway after tightening it to hell and rapping my knuckles against the arch a million times it was back together

I turn right alot on the way to the gym lol so off I go and. FIXED.
something so simple

glad its fixed now though thanks alot for everyones help!

Nice day out gave the car a polish and clean then decided to take the 200 off the back pretty easy just left loads of crap

And swapped over my nissan emblem to a S shield crest thing? whatever there called its awesome
