    Photos from Bruntingthorpe

Shamelessly copied from Nutz, but I went to Bruntingthorpe to get one good shot of a Lightning taxiing so we can have it put on a canvas for my dads birthday. Armed with a 400mm lens and a x2 converter that I'd never used before, I took a 2hr drive and a bit of a gamble, but with only one taxi run, the pressure was on! I spent ages setting the camera up to what I thought would work, and luckily it paid off:

    So nobody show my dad!

Anyway, some more shots from today, some fast air to begin with:

And, the pleasant surprise for me:

    Great pics man

Bloody Brunters though - they stopped us drifting there because of nopise and then they go get a Lightning in to drive up and down the runway. I dont know.

I think the Merc was probably louder than the Lightning! one of the guards was telling me how they'd stopped a lot of motorsport there. Shame really as there's buckets of room!

    Cheers

Thanks Garrett, the pics are awesome. Myself and my Dad would have loved to have gone to that. Do you know the museum name or when the next open day is?
