Ah neo engine nice! Solid lifters then, better for sitting on the rev limiter!
Are you using the s13 throttle cable? I know when I had that intake on my skyline I brought an s14 one as it was longer, but not sure if the same applies when having it in an S body

    tah DAH!

    And genuine 1st attempt start:

No water or oil leaks either...so all in pretty happy...except I need to remove rad again as I forgot/didn't know about the timing belt/crank washer....so the belt is rubbing and trying to come off...:-(
there is so little room that we cant even get a socket on the pulley

Cheers man. Yeah. 255 RSR up front...grips in corners so much.
rear is 285 eagle F1...but atm camber is an issue at -3.5 deg...so I get less contact patch than up front. Sorting that soon though :-)

Thanks very much mate, means a lot to know folks approve of what I've done. I do kinda wish I'd gone for a different colour...but when its clean and the sun hits it..The Copper tinge to the paint looks stunning :-)

Current update...**** you car...you POS. All the hard stuff is done..but no...now the stupid shite is tripping us up...**** YOU!!! 2x AAC, 3 x TPS and you still wont behave!

To be more precise....we can't get the tps to give the closed loop signal that shuts off injectors on lift off. Its providing the correct voltage...but still wont change to closed on the ecu/info.

So..its been 2 months...and not much has changed. Car now starts, stops and runs as it should..but still need to sort things like gauges, arb, mapping and alignment.

A friend sent me these pics when he was at the garage to keep my spirits up :-)

Me too dude..genuinely worried about that tbh. If the drive to and from the MOT are an indication...I still love it.

So...some actual progress has been made.

A bunch of bits arrived and in a shocking turn of events...all went on with no issues
Nismo short shifter (as stock felt like stirring porridge), Nismo s14 FLCA, Gkteck offset turret adapters, Whiteline ARB and GKtech multi part spacers (not sure if needed now lol)

Its helped push the wheels out to fill the arches and get rib of rubbing issues :-)

And in an unexpected and unplanned turn of events...I've taken a deposit on the eurolines/enkies...got an offer on new wheels that I could not turn down. :-)
