So i decided to drop the rear subframe at the weekend, I'm going to powder coat everything and make everything look new again. I don't think there's anything wrong with any of the bushes but whilst its all out i may as well do them all again. The chassis also needs some attention where the boomerang bracket bolts up.

Just an update on what's happened since i picked the car up, to the present day.

As i mentioned already, fuel pump and lines needed replacing, so they have all been done. I left the fuel line longer than it needed to be so i could have the fuel filter housing up in the air making it a lot easier to check for leaks, which i did have some fuel pissing out and little tighten up of everything cured that issue. Car starts on the button, so I'm happy apart from a good service that she's good to go.

Efforts are now going on making everything else nice. I had all 4 discs shot blasted. I just need to repaint the centre of the discs.
Chassis welding is next but i need to get all the subframe done first and back in place.

If I knew you was going to take off rear subframe I could’ve pointed you in the direction of one already off the car

    Little update.
Its taken longer than i wanted but never mind.

Subframe is powder coated along with all the arms, managed to clean up and paint the lower arms, diff, and drive shafts and hopefully this weekend the subframe can be re-assembled.

nice to see this is going to be an awesome car again

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
