    Cleaning AFM

I've done a search on "cleaning AFM", "cleaning MAF" in the S13 technical, and both come up with no results found.

This has been mentioned several times, but could someone point me to the link for what exactly should be done to clean it.

    Thanks

Can't find a link but I did this last week

Most say use 'contact cleaner' and swill the AFM around in it.
You can use an artists brush, but be very careful... the wiresa re very delicate.

I found a couple of references to using meths... and I had some in the garage.
So I used an artisits bush and meths... then swilled it around in an egg cup full of meths for good measure

    All nice and clean now

All I did with mine is carefully undo the two screws, lift out the unit and sprayed it with switch cleaner - left it to dry.... nice n clean

I used carb cleaner too. Just ont hold it too close to the can as the spray does come out at some speed and could damage the wires.

I wish they would fix the search, its driving me too
