too much oil in the engine

I've just done my oil change on the S13 and I've put too much oil in it. (Don't ask why )

Theres 4 litres of oil in what should be 3,5 so not much but too much and its smokin as hell

May I just burn it out or will it do any damage ? There no cat in it so there is no worry about that - anything else?

Is there an easyer way to get it out?

undo the sump plug a little ?

Take the sump plug out or a second, then put it back in Or you could take the filter off and drain it, then refit.
