    Great thank you.

Have just placed a £104 order, two lots of oil (one for me, one for a friend) and a K&N oil filter.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    Something a bit different...

I've got a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0, would like to change all the fluids, filters and spark plugs.

Can you recommend and quote for:

    Engine oil
    Gearbox oil
    Transfer box oil
    Front diff
Rear diff (is factory fit LSD so I think requires an additive)
    Oil filter
    Air filter

    And delivery to Yorkshire.

    Thanks.

    Hi

    I would use a 5w-30 engine oil

    http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-653-5w-30.aspx

The best ones there are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Motul 300V, Mobil ESP, Castrol Edge, Shell Helix Ultra Extra, Millers XF, Fuchs GT1 and Red Line, but the Motul Eco-Energy, Mobil Super 3000, Shell Helix HX7 AF/AG and Fuchs XTR are good cheaper alternatives.

You need a 75w-90 for the manual gearbox.

    http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-673-75w-...ion-fluid.aspx

If you want to go for the best, the Millers CRX 75w-90 NT, Gulf Competition, Motul Gear 300, Red Line MT90 and Millers TRX are ideal. The Castrol Universal/Universal Plus/Syntrans Multivehicle, Motul Motylgear and Fuchs Gear Syn are all decent alternatives.

The best option for the diffs is a synthetic 75w-90, like the Silkolene Syn 5, Millers CRX NT LS, Motul Gear 300LS, Red Line 75w-90 GL5 or Gulf Competition LS. A SAE90 or 80w-90 mineral oil such as Motul 90PA, Fuchs Race Gear 90LS or Gulf Gear LS 80w-90 is a good, cheaper alternative.

    http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-970-limited-slip-diff.aspx

You might need some extra friction modifier and this is ideal for that.

    http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-6320-red...-additive.aspx

Does it have the NV247, NV242 or NV231 transfer box?

Here are the filters that we have.

    http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-840-filters.aspx

The engine takes 5.7L, gearbox 3.3L, front diff 1.2L and rear diff 1.9L.

You can use the code OIL15 for 15% off the oils until midnight tonight.

    Cheers

    Hi

In that case, the best options are the Amsoil ATF, Red Line D4 or Fuchs ATF6000, although the others are fine as cheaper alternatives.

    Hi

    Yes a 10w-50 is ideal.

    http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-659-10w-50.aspx

The Nanodrive CFS is, on paper, the best oil available, but the Pro S, Red Line and CFS are really good oils, so all are good choices for your car.

    Cheers

    Hi Ry

There are no offers on that at the moment, although there are some good deals (the Motul and Millers are good options instead of the Pro S) http://www.opieoils.co.uk/t-Current-Offer.aspx , but there is supposed to be a deal coming on the Pro S where there will be a litre free with each 5L can, we're just waiting for Fuchs to sort out the stock.

    Cheers

I would use a 5w-40 synthetic in that.

    http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-656-5w-40.aspx

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Millers CFS/CFS NT, Motul Sport/300V, Red Line and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XF Longlife, Fuchs GT1 XTL/Supersyn, Gulf Formula G/ULE, Shell Helix and Mobil Super 3000 are good, cheaper alternatives.

    Cheers
