it idles at 900-1000 rpm - just had a drive and checked the stock ecu: no faults

Right ecu error codes, haven't checked that. Before i had nistune ecu so i lost that option then.
When i take out the cas and turn it manually i can hear the injectors clicking.
Okay so this weekend i got my car back up and running with my spare CA18DET. All went well until i had to set the timing. As you can see i had to turn the cas almost fully clockwise to put it at 15°....
I've got a CA18DET automatic block that i'm going to be using, when opening the engine i could see a lot of sludge in the oilpan and the head was also incredibly black. So not many oilchanges on this...
Plugs are soaked, rich engine :)
But problem number three has been identified: broken off end on the camshaft...
When i did the timing i evidently marked the correct position of the cas so i would know it's always in the right position.
I'm very familiar with the flooding issue, so i took the measures...
:( so the culprit was found, a switch which i installed in the circuit of the ignition. Once i removed it i got my +12V back on the coilpack, also meaning i got my spark back and STILL it won't fire...
have already tried both and did not change a thing...
okay so with a guy wellknown in the S13 loom we assume the problem is not enough power at the coilpacks - with a battery at 12,6 volt we are measuring 11,6 volt at each coilpack. Now we need to...
just changed the ignition loom, coilpacks, maf - still no spark
i would check the connector of the swichtbox behind the door - mine used to act up, so i used some tiewraps to firmly secure the connectors and since then my issue was solved
when measuring the plugs which go into the coilpacks:
- with the ignition on i measure 11,2 volt on the centerpole
- when cranking this drops to 7-8 volt
I'm lost for ideas, for the first time in 11 years i simply cannot comprehend why my CA18DET won't start.
