I've heard mixed reviews on the mongoose, some people say quiet and some say very loud! do they make different exhausts?
The HKS looks mint, but unless I find one in very used condition I think it...

I had a 3" stainless with one silencer on with stage 2 but the drone became a bore! I'd like something much quieter. Doesnt have to be like standard but ideally something that wont get annoying on...

Hi again, since removing my interior and fitting a much quieter exhaust i've noticed a weird grinding coming from somewhere behind me..
The pitch increaces with RPM but only when giving it POWERR....

Ahh okay. I think ill stay with the other anywY then. Just the idle bothering me!

I got it off ebay as a horsham chip but it came with a home printed label on it saying S13 stage 2 so i think its a clone or something else.

Ah right. I can't seem to find a whole lot on google about them!
My choice in chips is either this SE stage 2 or the questionable 'horsham' stage 2 thats currently in lol.

Hi, I have an ECU here labeled S.E Performance Stage 2.
It's got a socket soldered in and a chip in with no label..
Any idea who S.E Performace are and what their chips are like if they make them?...

2 45 degree scilicone and a straight bit pf pipe sounds like a great idea! Got plenty of bits of pipe lying around to make something up.. I feel silly for not even thinking of that lol

Is there anywhere that sells a solid pipe to go between the turbo and the maf or is it something ill have to make myself?

I have thought about that.. I was hoping a new boss/quick release would be about the same money anyway though so i'd prefer to keep the dished one.
Maybe i'll try just a really short boss by itself...

Mostly because of me being a shortarse/the bucket seat being far forward it's a pain to get in with the steering wheel in the way, and also as an alternative to fitting some kind of immobiliser :)

But that wouldn't solve my problem of wanting a snap off one :eek:
