Damn. Ive bent a rim, and buying one wheel seems to be an impossible task...in fact, buying Ultralite wheels in the UK seems difficult altogether. Clearly lots of suppliers have joined you in leaving...
Ah Daniel San, Hope you are keeping well.
Do my eyes deceive me, or have you really stopped stocking ultralite wheels?
Cheers,
Si.
Ah not to worry. Thanks anyway mate!
Hi, i'm wondering if you have a passenger side front hub/bearing assy available, and if so how much, and any idea on its mileage?
Cheers,
Si.
EDIT- Should have said, its for a '98 s14a.
ah so its not unheard of. I'll have to get one from somewhere then.
cheers guys!
I cant say as ive noticed if it is worse when hot. Im thinking that it must be so far gone that it has actually broken up inside, and not just worn to the point of making the droning noise.
Its weird...when the weight is off there is no hint of anything. No up and down play, no vibration through the spring, no sound at all (apart from the usual faint sound of the pads on the disc).

Monday bump:sxoc:
I have a creaking crunching type noise coming from the passenger front wheel when moving at slow speed...like walking pace slow. If i touch the wheel itself as the car is slowly moving i can actually...
Sorry Dan, scratch that. I just noticed on your other thread that you are busy with more important things at the moment, and unfortunately i need discs right now. So dont worry, i'll get some bogo...
Second vote for Westco mx5 battery. And as above, do not boost or fast charge it.
Mine runs the car and a 12" sub with no issues. I can leave it for a fortnight without starting it and it will...
Ah crap! I couldnt remember the order so i checked the workshop manual download that i got off here. it says right rear>left rear>right front>left front. I assumed that meant facing forward, as...
Im getting the data base error too. All posts are reading as zero replies, and the search facility is not working at all.
Nips are definitely at the top, no doubt there. I didn't have any leaks before but I guess it's not impossible that there is a leak from the new callipers...too hard to tell as it's wet out.
I...
Sorry for the basic question but search is not working at all for some reason...I just get an error message.
I've replaced all my callipers with refurbs recently and bled the fluid system. Now my...
So the larger pads wont be available going forward?
Awesome timing Dan!
Can i please have a pair of the front and rear refurbed calipers for the 14a?
And also a pair of replacement 330mm grooved front disks for your own kit, as per this...
Hey Mark, as you know, i was there in September. Look for the package deals on tickets, it saves a fair bit. Unless you love Disney, then you might not want to do Magic Kingdom (it is kiddy...
Hope who evers going has a good time. I'm off to Somerset tomorrow for a week, hence why i'm not coming...;)
Easy to make if you cant get hold of one. I just butchered a valve out of a bike inner tube and wedged it into a piece of pipe with a suitable ID smaller than the valve. It didnt even need gluing.
Hey Dan,
Have you stopped doing the larger pads? Or is your site just not fully populated yet?
Cheers,
Si.
Ah ok, cheers Dan, all duly noted.
Are stainless pistons available for the rear calipers?
I have to say im struggling to come to terms with that myself. I'll have to pull them all off and have a look. I defo didnt use copper grease...iirc the refurb kit came with high temp grease. It...
I definitely greased them under the boots, but i cant remember how well i cleaned up the polish tbh...
