Stag Do Plans... York

So, Its my friends Stag do in a few weeks and as best man I am trying to sort a few things for the day. Due to various reasons, the day already has an outline planned by the stag. Its the additions Im trying to make the most of!

So, we are karting at PPIK in Wetherby Saturday lunchtime and are booked into a hotel nearby. Deposits have already been paid for these so that is set. The plan was to go from there to York for mid afternoon to enjoy some beverage enduced vomiting etc. There are 11 of us going of various ages (bride and groom fathers are coming).

This isnt going to be the kind of stag involving clingfilm, lamposts, shaving, midgets, shaving midgets, strippers etc... and no-one, despite my best wishes, willl end up in Amsterdam on a ferry. We are just looking for some decent places to try in York with a lively atmostphere maybe live music??
