SirSearch Virus.......HELP!!!

Do any of you clever lot know how to get rid of SirSearch? It keeps hijacking my browser and is getting very annoying! :furious: :annoyed: I started off with IncrediFind and got rid of that but it's side kick seems to have come out of the bloody woods.

Been trying to fix it for the past 3 hours so any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

First, do this; CTRL+ALT+DEL - this brings up the task manager.

Then, click the processes tab and look for anything entitled sirsearch or similar and stop the process.

try using adaware and spybot to see if its hiding anywhere as spyware.... you can get these from download.com

if not download avg virus guard even the free edition should be able to get rid of it
