Beat the Gatso's

Read somewhere that all you have to do is to pass one at over 169mph and they don't have enough time to react between reading your speed and taking the picture, anyone think they can beat this?! All the cops would get would be a picture of the road and a huge speed reading - it might be fun to try and time this so that a micra passes the camera at the exact same instant the picture is taken! Upgrade your car and drive faster everyone, now where's my T4.....

There a camera on the way back to my house that will go off if you go past it the other way doing 80+ :)
I managed to time it last week so some poor sod coming the other way got flashed! :D
Reckon his speed reading might be interesting - -80 mph anyone?? :D

The new digital Gatso (no way of telling btw) operate at speeds in excess of 500mph, so no luck there...

And I wouldn't want to risk the old ones either!!

Could this be the police giving us motorists a break and tooling up to try and catch out unsuspecting low flying jets?? Imagine the fine if you're caught breaking the sound barrier in a 30zone!!!

apparently if you can brake at a rate of more than 2m/s between the two flashes you'll not be caught either. Personally I like the picture of the bandit 1200 bike caught wheelying through it. They couldent catch him because he was vertical and couldent see the plate!!

Just time it right so's you have a double-decker in between you and the gatso at the crucial moment :D

A somewhat nerve-racking skill to acquire, though :( :D
