Struggling to find a T25, intapart have one but cant get it to me until the end of next week. Has anyone come across a secent jap breakers or anything? Things are dire, the car is stuck in the car park at work. Cant put a T28 or T3 on right away because it aint a quick fix, theres too much work to do.

Any help appreciated.

Dan, wasting his employers money surfing for turbos.

No link I'm affraid, but I too waste all of my employers time trying to fix or buy my cars.

I have a couple of links that I used to use for BMW bits but there are no turbos for 200's.

Here the best I have anyway, may come in useful at some point, perhaps if you get a BMW.
www.carparts-uk.com (http://www.carparts-uk.com)

You don't know where I can get an engine from do you?

Why couldn't the 200 be built in germany, by perhaps BMW, I've had 2, screwed the balls of them and nothing broke.

Haven't got any prestigious road kill as yet, but It'll come soon. Besides I only run the risk of choking my opponent in smoke or launcing a con rod through his wing at the moment.

you can get a 200sx s13 or s14 engine from www.intapart.co.uk (http://www.intapart.co.uk) I was qouted £500+vat 2 days ago from them, which I think is quite cheap for a gauranteed engine. I am going there tommorow for a Turbo.

Jezz_S13,

One tip, don't mention BMW's in this forum, as a former BMW owner myself I fell into this trap, there not the most popular cars about here ! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Fat arsed bummer! I did find another link the other day hang on (just off to find it), wasn't much use though give it a go
http://www.nationalbreakers.com/

How much did IntaPart they want for the turbo? Just out of interest.

The 500+vat they quoted for the motor was inc delivery yes?

it was £150 +vat for a turbo. Not sure if the 500 quid included delivery, probably not. South wales is prolly a bit far to get to sheffield to pick it up too! Mind you i bet you have been further to watch the bladdyy rrrrraaagbee!

hehe ^ kiddin.

I'm not Welsh, so no offence taken, well actually the fact you assumed I was is a bit annoying. Seriously no offence taken.

No, originally from Leicestershire, Hinckley to be precise.

Have you replaced your valve seals? If so how do you do it.

150 squids not bad.

Try Jap Parts in Stockton on Tees, there in the Autotrader or try directory enquiries, they break loads of Nissans including S13's, S14's and skylines.

ok ok, i apologise for my horrendous regional stereotyping, and assumptions. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/tongue.gif

Never done the valve seals, about to though - 2 weeks. Hinckley is where errrm Brodie Britain Racing are isnt it? and Triumph motorbikes.

Well well, someone knows at least something about Hinckley, other than 'isn't that where the nuclear power station is?' Which it's not, that's in Devon somewhere I think.

Not too sure about Brodie Britain, maybe, we have Triumph tho' and Colin Blower performance something or other. That really is about it.

Okay I'm on the verge of creating a new thread. Valve Seals How to..., to try and find tips on surprisingly how to fit valve seals.

Try here, no web site tho' in this day and age as well...

Chimp,
I'm really not getting this; you are trying to get a second hand turbo when a rebuild/cost of repair would prob be cheaper.

Try: www.turbodynamics.co.uk (http://www.turbodynamics.co.uk) or
Universal Turbos 01425 471421

I realise they are both in the south but both offer cost of repair and free postage

yos, I have been down that lonely road before, a service and rebalance on the shaft is 160 quidish. Theres a place up here at ellesmere port thats wicked at that stuff, I have been there before with turbo's. Unfortunately T25's are an odd one, about 1 in 10 can get away with a reseal and balance if it is caught in time. Mine definately has bigger issues now, as I didnt bother getting it done as soon as it started smoking. I suspect the cartridge is failing (intermittant boost). And my days browsing has been succesful, pick up a none smoker tommorow from Bolton for £80 from a Nissan breaker.

Chimp,

What was the name of the breakers in Bolton?

Did you get any idea on their price for an engine? Mine ain't getting any better, infact worse, the sump is rusty & leaking.

Dan,

Try putting a post on the RSOC board (not like the one last week though http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif )

Im sure someone over there may be able to help with a cossie turbo, failing that, there are a few traders on that board who may also be able to help you out.
