Yup - I like sliding sideways be it in me motor or on the slopes.

I spent last weekend in Meribel and despite the fact that snow this year is crap there was over a foot of the fresh stuff every night - awesome, we only spent about 20% of the time on the groomed runs the rest was all off-piste. :D

Its is a deal I would recommend - 1 days holiday = 3 days snowboarding. A coach picked us up on friday night, drove us overnight to Meribel whilst everyone got pissed, then when it arrives in the mornig, the hotel has a breakfast waiting for us then its straight onto the slopes. On the 3rd day when the lifts shut the coach takes you home again. Get home 8am in time to go to work with a tanned face and a smile that pisses everyone off :D Only £250 all in.

Im off again in a fortnights time to switzerland although this time i will be driving over as I have a chalet I can use. Ive also got to teach the Girlfriend so I expect it to be a gentle week rather than a hardcore, cliff dropping, back country hiking, big air session - but she might surprise me.

What riding do you do then?

I am into snowboarding also. We here in Finland have lots of snow but no real mountains so snowboarding is the only way to go here. I skied ´til I was 12yrs old, then tried snowboarding once and sold the skies the very next day. It is so boring to take a 5min trip up with the lift and then ski down 10secs in a straight line...

I had a two years break in snowboarding due to lazyness and lack of money for an annual trip to Lappland or to the Alps or somewhere. Now I had a winter holiday and went snowboarding twice. I had forgotten how fun it is. Now I´m eager to go everyday trying some mad tricks and hurting my self as hell.

Well if you don't have many mountains, you want to get yourself something that I saw in canada once - A snowboard with a chainsaw motor attached to the back powering a caterpillar track. Hand held throttle offered speeds of up to 35 mph on the flat!! :D :D

Just returned from a week in Morzine / Les Gets, had a fantastic time plenty of piste and off piste with several feet of snow. Rode through trees for first time, what an experience!! Was pleased with the performance of my board - Nitro Storm -
What do you ride? Just perfecting trail jumping can't stand dry slope jumps.
Are you considering a trip to scotland this year, conditions permitting?? Would not like to be driving a 200sx in the snow. Considering PX for Audi S2 Avant what do you think? Could get sod all in the 200, had to remove the rear wiper motor to get the double board bag in.

PS,
Off to Mt Hutt NZ in Sept '02, just after getting married to Louise, a cute ass boarder.
Why do women's snowboard trousers always has snow on the bum and knees, and don't realise balance is easier at speed???
:D :D
