BMW question

I've been offered a 635csl for just over 2k which doesn't seem too bad, but was wondering what the running costs of it would be, insurance, parts etc....
It's in great condition, full bmw s/h and the guy loves cars (letting me take his ferrari maranello i think for the day on sunday) so hasn't ragged the nuts of it!

Had one a few years ago, most parts even from BMW are not tooo bad, eurocar parts for some, tho age of the car may get in the way.

Are the front wings okay, - common rust problem- as they are IIRC £600 each, -thats if you can still get them, apart from that there pretty much bullet proof, tho the dog leg first sport box is not the one to have, as the gearing is noot really suitable. :thumbs: :wave:

You should be able to get classic insurance on that, so cheapy cheap :)

you can get mega cheap parts from German and Swedish so they're not too bad at all in that respect
