Just got myself a nice little runabout!!A G reg Honda Integra 1.5 12valve(WTF is that all about??) for the huge sum of £25,one previous owner,full service history,just needs a bit of welding for the mot.The SX is going to have a nice life now only going out in the dry and when it wants too! Yay! anyone know about these little scrabblers??

Is that the lean burn engine?
They were quite clever as far as I remember. One of the inlet valves feeds a small 'pre-combustion chamber' that gets a slightly rich mixture for reliable firing, and the flame front then travels out into the main chamber which is fed a weak mixture via the second inlet valve.

Or am I wrong...

Dad had one of these years ago. Dunno much about it mechanically cos in the 100000 miles he had it it never went wrong. He's sworn by scrabbly Hondas ever since :D
