Explain to me who would pay $12,000 for a completely burnt out car???? Even the engine is useless???

i don't know. $12,000 seems crazy unless they are going to rebuild it but even then the car would only be worth £40K I guess?

Not so common nowadays, the insurance companies 'see' to that.


To ring a car - get salvage, get V5, aquire stolen car - swap identities.
I should add this is Illegal and there are checks that are done to stop this kind of thing from happening, you have been warned!

Thats not the same car - one is in Germany, and the other in the US.

Is it a design fault of the lambo though??? Two going up in smoke the same way???? :eek:

But the Gearbox probably survived, and the block and possibly heads, pistone, rods, crank etc.
Baring in mind a replacement engine probably costs £30,000 (plucked out of thin air TBH) and a gearbox prolly costs a good £6-12K someone could have picked up a bargain.
also, 4wd system etc?

I feel a kit car project coming on :D :wack: :smash:
