hi there

am looking at getting a totally std S14 from a friend (anyone wanna buy a golf...)

i have an induction kit sorted, will be getting a Bren device, but not gonna have the cash for the full exhaust yet

would the std exhaust with a de-cat be good enough?

and any recomendations for uprated fuel pump? i am looking at the walbro - any other better/cheaper options?

cheers

A full exhaust would be the best option, although removing the cat is a step in the right direction :)

The walbro pump is very good and will flow enough fuel for pretty much all SR20s.

The stage 1 chip would suit your car well, you must fit an uprated pump but it should be OK with a de-catted exhaust.

You just have to be 100% sure it isn't detonating.

Id get a frontpipe/decat part of the exhaust before the cat-back, but this is not most peoples view  but gives the most bang for buck
Dont forget your colder plugs to go with your bren device + Walbro pump, I guess you'll be going for 1 bar of boost??

have now got car, already fitted

Induction kit
Bren device

am lining up a De-cat
then will be after a walbro

with those mods am i ok with a stage 1 chip? would probably run about 14psi to be on the safe side - 240-250ish bhp i'm guessin?

Yeah, with all that fitted it should be fine :)
