I was looking at various ADSL sites earlier. On one of them I stopped to look at the small print.
After pages of clauses about confidentiality (? its ADSL via BT copper for Gods sake), looking after the equipment (lightning strikes are your responsibility), what you can't use the service for (anything that may 'distress another person' - so that rules out half of this board) and then finally at the end the coup de grace :
'Errors and omissions excepted'
Errors and omissions excepted !!!!!???????
"I'm sorry you honor, I omitted to include the clause requiring the defendant to pay ten grand per month ......"

Last time I checked there was no service level agreement either so if it goes down it can be down for a year and you cant do diddly squat

oooh SLA's.. they talk about those a lot at work.. I try to ignore them, they don't seem to do anything for me, although I have noticed the work that's out of SLA usually means an unhappy customer on the phone when I eventually do something.. Hmm
