Hey mate, try and keep a positive thought going in your head - I'm not in a terribly great situation at the moment, but if I just keep thinking the happy thoughts, there's hope! You're still young, lots of time left in life - whenever things seem bad, dont be downbeat and things can and will get better!
Just keep thinking of the Veilside kit on your S13 http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Dont I just know it Avinit.. Bird broke up with me on Friday. She said things had got too deep too quick, and said she got scared and had to run. she's sent text opologising etc, and has chatted.
Stupid thing is she still fancies me.. lots, and I do her.. But due to X ****s.. they have ****ed her up a bit with dumping her on the spot after years etc.. not good.
Weird. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
Still, she might be coming to Santa Pod with me still http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Mate sorry to hear it.
You gotta look on the bright side, been in a similar situation a couple of times myself, and one of my mates is having almost exactly the same thing going on in his life at the minute.
What you got to see is that despite everything being sh!t shaped at the minute it'll work out. And at the end of the day you'll be happier, cos you'll have what you want and will have learnt from the past.
It may seem like a backward step at the minute, but in 6 months year whatever you'll be happier than you were before.
All the best,
Jezz.
Tell you what though Avinit - none of this stuff gets better as you get older, while it's happening. But, speaking in my capacity as a divorced 43-year-old with two kids, whose last long termer went down the pan last year (took her four years and a proposal of marriage to decide that she didn't want a bloke with kids; gave me a "my feelings for you are the same BUT....." speech), I can tell you that the recovery ability appears to get better.
Avinit, I think you were telling us in the middle of last year that you were on shaky ground with Joanne. It sounds to me like no amount of pleading's going to help your case. Can I suggest the best thing to do is to lay off the pleading and let her make up her mind what she wants to do long-term? And you make the very best of it in the meantime - see the kids, but don't bug her. Then when you know for certain what she wants (ie you are convinced in your own mind that she means what she says), go with it, and if it's the worst then it's the worst. But don't hide in a dark room for months on end. Change your life somehow - do something diferent, divert your attention from the situation in hand and give yourself something new to concentrate on. And then look for a stroke of luck (and there are plenty but we often don't spot them when they whizz by). Mine was an unexpected phone call just before Xmas from a lady friend from donkeys years ago wanting my new address...........Carpe diem and all that.
In the meantime Avinit, comiserations mate.
But like Jez says....put it down to experience and learn for next time.
Know pretty much how u feel mate.
Been planning for the last 4 months or so to head down to coventry to be with my partner.
Gave up my job and everything.
Told all my family and friends.
Anyway, heads down to cov on tuesday for an interview and im thinking everything is starting to fall into place.
Planned to move down for the start of february (2weeks time).
Got the job by the way.
I came back from the interview and im telling her all about it and she just looks at me and says "its all happening too fast" and "im not ready to move in together"
Great!!!
Cant afford to just move down myself, and even if i did, i wouldnt know anyone.
So kinda been in a daze for the last week trying to figuer out what the feck im gonna do. Still dunno!!
Add to this the fact that the 200 has been off the road for bout 4 months and doesnt look to be going back on the road for quite some time, its all pretty ****ty.
Dont think this will make u feel better mate, just to let u know ur not the only one with a f*cked up life at the moment.

Aw no mate, that's rough. And so soon after the baby. Might just be post-natal depression getting the better of Joanne.
Whatever, life's an adventure and you can be sure something will happen to change your lot sooner or later.
Be sad, but don't be depressed. You will see it differently in time.

Its early days yet, when my missus walked out on me and went to her mum's I thought ya beauty the SX is getting the attention it deserves; 17's, Veilside kit, t28, FMIC I had 6 months wages accounted for within an hour of her leaving. The bitch came back 2 days later and F**ked up my plans...then I felt the way you do now!. Life goes on and you will find happiness somewhere as you go along. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif

Mate,
Don't know what to say. It is hard enough when a girlfriend leaves you, let alone a wife and when kids are involved, well I can't even comprehend that since I don't have any.
Can't think of anything else to say, except sorry to hear it. Even though that sounds lame.
http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
Look forward to seeing you at a few 200 meets though I hope.

Hi Avinitlarge, hi Richy_Boy
very sorry to hear that. I guess most of us know how that hurts and it's never easy to cope with that. And i won't try to cheer you up, 'cause i know it'll be almost impossible. My advice: Spend your time with something that distracts you from the pain, meet some good friends.
best wishes

Sorry to hear, m8
Same happened to me 1 1/2 Years ago. Think it is one of the worst things to happen.
Didn't you have problems with your wife some time ago?
I seem to remember something about too much Nissan too less wife or so??
Anyway, hope you're well soon.

Cheers TOmcat, but its Avinit who needs the sympathy. I'm a happy go luck guy, and a nipper @ 24.
I hate to think what it would be like to have serious problems when youve been withthem for years.. with kids etc.
Avinit, dont worry. Pick yaself up, and if you want her back, like someone said, change. Ive always found getting some new 'different' clothes to make her look at you in a different light.
Err thats all I can suggest. Had a good chat with my X today (after some ****ty emails) and have smoothed things out a little. Meeting up on thursday evening to talk more.
So chin up lad, one way or enough, it'll work out.
