ive bought it back off the people my sister sold it too 3 years ago

this mini was my sisters first car.

it has a name.. its called mertle :D

anyways my sister had a first child and the mini had to go... she was crying pretty much uncontrollably when it was sold and it was driving up the road

well we knew the people we sold it too well.

they bought the little mini for there daughter to drive once she passed.

she never did learn to drive and this little mini has spent 3 years in dry storage. when we sold it the mini had just passed a mot and had tax

well i saw the guy and asked if his daughter would sell it she is at uni now and needs the money :) ... i bought it back for £100 less than we sold it too them for and its just sailed though its mot today :D

went round and picked up the keys and drove it ... WHAT A SCREAM :D

SUCH a giggle driving home :D

why did i buy it? ..well im skint but its my sisters wedding on june the 26th :)

its her wedding present from me :)

i plan to drive it up at the wedding reception when the wedding party is outside ... for 3 years she has wanted this little car back and now im gonna relise that dream for her and to be honest im buzzing seeing how cheap i got it and how rust free it is ... dry stored all its life :D

now? where am i gonna hide it intill the 26th of june :D:D

tell me what you think :) because i cant wait intill i can give it to her and pay her thanks for being such a good big sis :smitten:

You soft tw@t - get it de-seamed, fit the KAD 16v head and Jack Knight five speed box to a spare 1.3 engine, bored out to 1.4 - that should be good for about 130mph. Paint it British Racing Green with a white roof, ditch the 10 inch alloys in favour of some 13 inch revolutions and keep it for yourself.

Not really - just putting on a macho performance to disguise the fact that I got a lump in my throat at the beautiful deed you are doing for your sister. Top stuff DS - you are da man! :notworthy

He's from Somerset - no-one will give him a second glance round there. Well, apart from the fact he's in a car rather than a tractor or combine harvester :wack: .

Good Luck DS - hope the day goes well

Probably, "James, you stupid tosser. It's taken me ages to get over the loss of that car and now you drag all the emotions back up again. And I'm just starting married life with a young child, you tool. How the flying fcuk am I supposed to afford the insurance on yet another car? You really are an idiot".

Or she might have been really pleased. :wack:
