Now, its a beatiful sunny day and i was going to clean the car, but beeing as it is a beutiful sunny day the car is hot my nice green s14 is kinda warm to say the least.
My turtle wax XTREAM!! wash and wax products say not to use them in direct sunlight, or when the paint is hot
so i'm faced with a dilema, do i wait till the middle of the night, buy which time my car will be cool and out of direct sunlight, do i get up very early in the morning b4 its got hot and sunny or do i wait till it gets cloudy?
or should i just say sod it and do it anyway
what a dilema :wack:

Wait till about 10pm tonight.. The perfect time to wash the car... :wack:
And it will make sure you are ready for bed afterwards...

hot overcast days are best, direct sunlights a no no as the panels on the car get to hot.
stops the water evaporating too fast, so you can chamois it up propoably, and if you wax in direct sunlight you will find that it sometimes leaves a sort of haze, white deposit in some places :)
yeah don't do it, the water'll evaporate off so quick you won't be able to keep up, and it'll leave horrid deposits which'll make you want to clean the car all over again!
just do it early in the morning before the car warms up...

When I wash my car in the heat, I keep rinsing all the time, I wash the top/front and rinse the car, wash the rear and rinse the whole car, was the drivers side, and rinse the whole car, then the passenger side, then, guess what? I rinse the whole car, use a hydroblade to get the excess water off, finish it off with a chamois leather, drive it round the block, and chamois off all the water that had got caught in the filler cap, under the spoiler etc etc which will now be dripping out onto the main body of the car.
Did it myself today despite the heat, car looks lovely :D
