I'm pretty new to this and need a bit of help sticking on a digital image. I've read about the UBB codes but not too sure as to whether I will be able to put a picture on as I go through my works internet. Do you need your own connection/web page to do this?

At the minute yes you need somewhere to be able to host the pictures.
try www.geocities.com (http://www.geocities.com)
When Dave & Keith get it sorted you'll be able to copy stuff upto the Readers Rides section on the BB.

I've set up my website and included the address in my personnal profile but I'm not too sure as to whether it works because it's a html file. Will geocities do this as an UBB code?

You need to change the .html to .jpg

You got to put it inside image tags.

i cant type them in as it'll think there is an inmage coming but they are IMG and /IMG inside square brackets [ & ]
