FAO Brighton boys

Right - morning lads
Ive just come off the back of (another) incredibly good weekend in Brighton, and have decided that Cambridge life is far too tame for an animal such as myself. To misquote "Snatch":
"Do you hear that boys - Im coming to Brighton!" :D :D
Obviously commuting from Brighton to Cambridge isnt really on the cards, so whats the IT job availability like down there??
Im currently a Hardware and software engineer for a 3D graphics firm - any chance of that sorta thing??
Basically, is this a pipe dream, or am I gonna be able to get a job that allows the continued consumption of ..... stuff ;), pelnty of partying, and high speed jap coupe driving?? :D :D

Sorry mate, job situation down here is unusually bad - there's not much in the way of large companies, just call centres, bar work etc.

I reckon your best bet is to look for jobs in the Crawley / Gatwick / Burgess Hill / East Grinstead zone and commute from Brighton...

Docwra, I work at Gatwick so will get hold of some local rags to mail to you if you want. I think you stand a better chance at the airport than in Brighton?

Go to www.ask.co.uk (http://www.ask.co.uk) then put in IT Recruitment.
That'll bring you a list of job sites and you can search off those.
I did that and have got 9 irons in the fire after only about 2 hours... (admittedly for copywriting...)

Cheers guys - its more in the planning stages atm, but I might go have a gander at the jobsites.
I want to keep working in IT really - I had enough bleedin trouble getting into it in the first place - Im not jumping ship now!! :D :D
I am a qualified chef as well mind - that might come in useful yet ..........
