My current mobile (7650) is a touch on the fcuked side, the power button bust so I've been using various pointed objects to turn it on, I had to use a dart last night down the pub and now the power button is shagged, I doubt it'll turn on again when the battery dies :wack:

Anyhow, my contract is up with O2 so I thought I'd try and blag an upgrade to the 6600. I rang them up and they said they wanted £70 for it, I said well if I go with Vodafone I can get it for nothing, 2 minutes pass "yes we can match that" :D

YAY!

I tried for the XDAII but they wanted £200 and wouldn't move on the price :(

i tried to do that with vodafone, but they won't give me any money off when my contract was up so i changed to o2 :thumbs:

Yeah, definitely true.. A year ago I went into phones4u and wanted the nokia 6100.. They said I could have it for £30 .. I went to sign up for the contract and at the end they said "that'll be £180" .. I was like, "eh?" and then they explained it was £30 for the contract and £150 for the phone. I said "That's too much" and they said "How much would you like to pay?".. I said "£30".. Girl went and spoke to the manager and unbelievably they said "Yeah, alright"..

Goes to show what you can rinse from these phone companies if you give it a shot.. :D
