What exactly is it?
You could use a download program that stores the download and if you get disconnected you can resume at trhe place you left off.

Getright is ok for this or even real download. You could find them on zdnet.com or cnet.com

It's Java 1.3 which I need for my new phone to download extra games....etc.

I've tried Go!zilla but I cannot seem to get it to take over the download just in case I get disconnected. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif

Never used gozilla, soz, have you tried one of the shareware programs like kazaa and morpheous to see if anyone else has it?

Try Getright, i used to use it a lot. However any of these only work if the sever you connect to supports fragmented downloads.

java.sun.com is the place to get it from, but then again you probably know that.

Try "download accelerator plus". Just type that into a search engine and it should bring up a site with it to download on to your pc. It speeds up downloads as it sets up 4 connections with their servers and also lets you resume if you get cut off.
