as in Gran Tourismo 3, much as i'd love the porche http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

anyone here mastered how to alter the settings on your cars in GT3? i get a pretty good idea about what works but with a lot of experimentation, eg// camber and toe setting, damper rebound, LSD settings, its all a bit too much http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

Anyone got any good hard info about suspension settings etc that i can learn from?
cheers http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif

I have suspension settings from GT2 that seem to work perfectly on GT3 :-P Buy the corvette Z06 and try the following.

Front Springs 16
Back Springs 15
Ride height (slammed)
Front Damper Bound 5
Rear Damper Bound 5
Front Damper Rebound 10
Rear Damper Rebound 10
Camber Front 4.5
Camber Rear 3.5
Toe Front : Standard
Toe Rear : Standard
Braces Front 5/6
Braces Rear 5/6

You'll find that this will work well for 80% of the cars in game, MR cars need softer suspension to avoid being Twitchy, and the 4WD need more body roll or they tend to understeer a bit :-)

Try them out and go from there :-)

nice one, you DIAMOND, i will give it a shot, takes the pi55 as in GT3 i seem to have RWD cars tha love to understeer, my s15 spec-R is a bitch and i keep shouting at it http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/rolleyes.gif

the settings i mostly did was slightly higher front spring rate than rear, but above the mid-mark.....

almost slammed suspension
all dampers on 10 i think
roll bars on highest
front camber on 4
rear on 3, cos i saw it in a mag on one car http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

and thats about it, the LSD settings i just close my eyes and press the joypad cos that is about the only chance i have of doing something right http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

why is toe left as standard?
cheers dude!

Oh, and one more thing.. you will have ASM (Anti Spin Mechanism) switched on and Traction Control on middle settings as default.. Turn ASM either off or down to 1/2 as this affects steering response :-)

Hope that helps :-)
