Quiz time again.
Ive had a slight problem with my bodge fitting of the oil pressure gauge/ pressure switch into the block. It was leaking a bit and got worse after loads of runs at SP (you remember the leak Nat?). It turns out that the brass fitting that was screwed into the block had cracked and has now broken completely leaving the threaded part still stuck in the hole and p1ssing oil every where.
Question is.... How the hell do I ge it out?
Ive heard of 'Easy Out' which is like a left handed tap but I've also heard that they break easily leaving a very hard bit of metal stuck in the part that was being removed. The only other idea I've had is take the engine out and have it drilled and tapped which seems a bit drastic (and expensive).
Any other ideas pleeeeeease. I'm desperate
