rover 214si

I bought a wee 214 on a k plate a few weeks ago as a runabout.

Just a wee problem (i hope)
Gearbox seems awful noisey especially in 1st and 2nd and in 5th it just whines.

Im crossing my fingers just now that its just lacking oil .

My question is does anyone know where the filler plug is?

I can pour oil in by removing the reverse switch, but i dont know if im over filling it by doing this, so i really need to find out where the level plug is.

Had a look myself, but i cant seem to see it, its pretty manky in there.

i had a 216 gti
the gearbox filler cap was on the drivers side of the gear box, just next to the drive shaft.
its a honda engine mind!
