Dont know if anyone can help as I know there are a few keen mountain bikers on here :)
I just put some new batteries in my digital milometer thing on my bike and its asking for me to set the wheel size.. Prob is its not in a normal scale :annoyed: it runs from 97-240... I have 26" wheels on my bike so what value do i put in for it to be correct mph and miles covered??
Cheers for any help

At a guess it's circumference in cm. Is the 26" the diameter of the rim or the OD of the tyre? 26" diameter = 207.5cm circumference.

26" includes the tyre which would make the rim about 24" ... I measured the circumf and it was 265, but thats not gonna fit on the scale on the speedometer...

You sure? 265cm circumference makes the od 33.2" :wack:
