I cant see that hes lying, but I have to say, I thought it was rather cold titling the message "Corsa is no more"
Surely there was a more important aspect of that crash http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

By the tone of the email, it appears the poor guy is still in shock. I wouldn't be suprised if he is. Imagine crashing your car and killing your girlfriend. I'd be utterly destroyed. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

A good friend of mine lost his girlfriend in a crash much like the one mentioned, although I believe he swerved for a phesant or some other wildlife. Suffice to say since then I've treated that road with much more respect because it hit me that it could have been me, it could have been anyone...
There are still marks on the road from where his car slid along on it's roof, it's not right that it takes an accident like that before you think 'hang on what if something darted out in front of me, I wouldn't have a chance'
He has since got over his loss but I'm sure he'll never forget that night.

AshT_200
18-01-2002, 13:30
But, take into account, his Girlfriend only gets a passing mention, yet he goes into great detail, dramatising what happened to him.

Quote "they had to start my heart on the scene, i was in intensive care 4 a week and i have 7 broken ribs, broken coller bone, punctured lung, burst spleen, ashredded diaphram and fractured pelvis i caan barely walk" 39 Words

whereas her mention was "girlfriend was in the passenger seat and she got killed on impact " 12 Words

I'm sceptical about this, doesn't sound like a person who has just killed his girlfriend.

The thought did cross my mind, as there are some very sick puppies out there. Some people crave attention, http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Sounds plausable though, in a corsa or similar car especially.

I am happy to leave it as it is.

If this story is true it is very sad to hear. It's true, this could happen to everybody of us.
Like some of you it also makes me think about the speed I'm going sometimes..
The girl gets far too less attention in this whole thing methinks. I mean she was the passenger who was killed...

And by the way

eeerm 2 weeks in hospital, one of which was in intensive care! my misses wants to move to inverness know so that she can work in this mirical hospital.
7 broken ribs, not much you can do about that but keep as still as possible.
Broken coller bone, just a figure of 8 bandage.
Punctured lung!!! holy **** he healed that quickley!
burst spleen, operated on and removed.
shredded diaphram, this is a muscle that helps you breath so coupled with a punctured lung this guy has problems.
fractured pelvis, why the **** is he trying to walk on it.
Just to come out of an ITU you will spend a good few weeks on a medical ward, then there is physio, councelling etc etc.
The people I have shown this two one a doctor one a nurse (my misses) have come to the same conclusion that if it is true the only reason he is out of hospital now is that he has discharged himself. christ the pain killer's he should be takeing would drop a donkey.
He is either a lying sick individual or a stupid git in alot of pain and has possibly put himself in danger.
just my opinion for what it's worth.

People are sick like that. It's called Munchausen by Proxy. People make up lies like this to get attention.

I spoke to a Pulmonary specialist today (I work for a pharm company that specialises in Pulmonary products. He told me that a shredded diaphragm would require time to heal and the person would be sedated and on a ventilator for a few weeks at the very least.

He did point out, that with all the other injuries, he would be very surprised if the person would actually survive due to the shock to the body.

But then again, if he was treated in a NHS hospital, they would have needed the bed.

I think your all abunch of sick bastids. and Nathan_200sx if you were to read the post correctly is say that the guy got out of intesive care after 4 weeks. it does not mention when he went in.

"Punctured lung!!! holy **** he healed that quickley!" yes they do that you know.

"fractured pelvis" could mean any thing form a hairline to a compound break.

I dont know who you are vibrio, but I think this story does have a few little inaccuracies, not least his incredibly short stay in hospital and the fact hes more bothered about that car. We arent making any judgements here mate, just passing an opinion on a tall sounding story.
Like Nathan says, go back to the playground, then ask your mum what "informed", "opinion" and "discussion" mean.
Then you can learn how to spell them - teacher will be pleased http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Apparently it's because we're "Datsun drivers". (Stop it, please, before you cut yourself...)

Makes sense I guess.

To choose a "Datsun" requires the ability to see past the surface gloss, hype and personal prejudice, and make rational decisions based on the facts.

Vibrio m8, you need a bigger baseball cap as yours is obviously too tight. If you have read all of this thread then you should know that no-one called anyone a liar, we only questioned the facts presented. If you conclude that the guy is lying then go tell HIM rather than flaming us for putting the thought in your head.

And if it's sick your after, hows about the guy who posted this thread on the corsa board, where the poor bloke can't miss it.

Like I said, he needs help either way, even more than you do.

This thread was posted by our site administrator (who I hope has banned you) for us to communicate our condolences/think about the poor bloke. None of us are insensitive enough to go and post onto that thread - we dont even know the guy.
Through the course of this thread, however, people have pointed out that there is some stuff on there that isnt quite right. We have not accused anyone of anything - this is what the net is about - the right to free speech and expressing your opinions. It appears you have no capability for lucid or even sensical speech, and obviously what few brain cells you do possess are taken up with stuff like breathing, sticking your thumb up your arse etc., so I suggest you **** off and go an annoy someone else with your childish, uninformed and uneducated views.

TBH I canny believe how this thread has developed. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

I'm far from sensitive sometimes myself but the '...at least one less Corsa...' thing was about as brainless as a comment can be.

Munchausens Syndrome is where you injure yourself to get attention, Munchausens Syndrome by Proxy is to hurt others to get attention.
The name Beverly Allet (Allot) springs to mind.

Vibrio your are a W@nker, so you think that is going to help your mate do you?

At the end of the day as said before this guy is in a mess whether this is real or just fantasy, so I reckon we should just shut up about it, lock the thread so no-one else can say either anything stupid to make the guy feel worse, or if this is some sort of attention seeker not to give him any more attention.
