Hello Drifty people,
Some of you may have noticed the SXOC branded overalls thread in both 200SX-related and Members section.
The supplier has now offered me 'flame retardent overalls'
Here's the tech info frm the thread in the members section:
For a person working in a fire hazardous environment, the one thing that counts above all besides comfort and performanace is safety.
The fabric is a heavyweight 100% cotton: specifically treated with a flame retardant finish. The weight of the cloth is 330 gram and is sanforized shrunk. Fully certificated to European Standard EN470, EN453, EN533 and is reisilient for over 50 washes.
EN470 is the harmonised European standard for protective clothing for welding and allied processes. Garments conforming to this standard are intended to protect the wearer against small droplets of molten metal splash from welding and cutting. The boilersuit conforms to this standard and typical uses are for welding, cutting, grinding, electrical, onshore and offshore oil and gas industries. automotive, public ulitilies and many more industries.
EN531 is the harmonised European standard for protective clothing for industrial workers exposed to heat. The fabrics used are tested to comply with the following classifications:

I know there hs been some debate about next years requirements (race-suits etc...) and there are only 3 OPT events left this season... but Phil thought some of you would still be interested...
The overalls are embriodered on the left breast with your name and the 'round' logo. As they carry the club logo, they are only available to club members.
Non-members can join at the same time - just add the £15 membership fee and I'll sort out the membership with Little_Jim (membership admin person)
I'm just testing the water at the moment before I spend time sorting out exact prices with the supplier however, a number of people on the current group buy have said they want to upgrade, so we'll probably be going with it.
I anticiapte placing the order with the supplier next week-end and have bulk delivery to me for repacking and sending out to you by 1st class post 10-days later.
