im new to this track stuff, i want to follow you guys to the pod on sunday 24th, can anyone tell me what the rules are regarding helmets?? i know youve got to do 100 mph but how will they know?? ive got a s14 running 260 bhp, any advice would be great, also, anyone got more than 17 psi of boost from standard ecu on an s14a?? been told not poss

They'll know after the first run, it's also pretty likely you'll hit 100.

I gotta borrow my helmet back off a mate.

You should be getting more than and extra 60bhp by upping the boost to 17psi.

Dont worry about helmets, you dont need one unless you are in a soft top or a proper drag car. Ive done loads of runs and never worn or been asked to wear a lid.

And nearly every run was over 100mph bye the way. :p :D

Can you rent helmets if they get a bit shirty?

Don't want to be kicked off after 1 run for lack of equipment! ;)

Would a bike helmet do? I'll need a full face jobbie for my Westfeild anyway - could get a cheap one at the weekend.

You cant rent helmets there but trust me, you dont need a helmet.

Bike helmet is all I have.
Will have to do, gonna take it anyhow, whether I have to wear it or not.

You should be getting more than and extra 60bhp by upping the boost to 17psi.</STRONG>having exhaust and cat probs at mo, 260hp at 5 1/2 thou revs, removed one cat and got stainless exhaust but been told i need a bigger bore and other cat replaced, should be sorted on 8th march
