Whispers in the news are correct , there is about to be a recall on 1.8 primera and 1.5/1.8 almera/tino for the cranshaft position sensors, top and bottom, failing whilst driving.( letters are being sent to owners as we speak) Ie the engine dies, if ur lucky in the driveway, if ur unlucky then in the fast lane of the M25, as happened to 2 of our customers recently. thats apart from the non - recall, oil pump failures, and the torque converter bolts falling out of 1.4 micra cvt gearboxes, made in France , you betcha!
