Yeah the reason for the laxpower crusade is i'm looking for a rear wing for nick, he want something that resembles steelie's D1 wing, that follows the rear hatch curve on the S13. Seemed a good place to look.

The D1 wing there isn't so bad, it's the same one that Mat had on his S13 and then his S14, however it looked bollox on his :ghey: ..

I must admit, I'm fading on the whole big carbon wing thing, I'm starting to think it might look cool on mine :eek: theres a Top secret one thats f*ckin massive, it looks ace, and is only about £800 :wack:

I prefer modifications that are functional. What would a spoiler do for a drift car going sideways at 70-80mph?

What is the point of a rear wing on a drift car? Normally they are put on to get rear down force (well, most are put on to look :ghey: ) but the last thing you want on a drift car is more rear grip.

Thats what I prefer as well, therefore, no spoiler required.
However, every drift car i have seen with no spoiler looks like there is something missing.
Supra, 200, skyline, they all look incomplete without some kind of spoiler,just not a :ghey: meccano wing.

I must admit i like the no spoiler option although some cars as you say look a little odd as they have obviously been designed with a spoiler in mind. S13's look particully good without one IMHO. The GT wings aren't really my thing, although they do look good on cars with decent bodykits like the ones in the pcitures above. What i really dislike though is seeing something like a Rover 400, with no mods apart from huge wolfrace alloys and a massive GT wing, it just looks daft. :ghey:

I like the smaller GT wings, I don't get the wings with HUUUGE supports.

It ends up looking like a massive wing with a car attached. lol

I like either no spoiler or HUGE ducktail spoilers. bothe are proper sick drift look. :notworthy
