hello board, ive not been on the board for a while now, and i get the feeling that i wont be wonted after what im about to say.
I SOLD THE 200SX, AND GOT A FORD!
GULP. WHAT HAVE I DONE?
the engine had seen better days, so had the gearbox, so i sold it. was going to buy a k plate s13 but fell though in the last minute. coz the bloke sold it to someone else....**** head.
so i needed to get a car fast. looking though the paper and saw a Sierra Cosworth(lookalike) for sale, fitted with a rover 3500cc V8, tuned up, plus with nitrous!!!!! needed some work for mot. so i got it, done the work.
f**k me, this goes. its got a T5 box, 4-barrel Holley carb. 100bhp gain nitrous.
ive been to rolling road and its 210bhp at the wheel with out the nitrous, and 323bhp with nitrous, at the god dam wheels. i cant wait for santapod, its going to rip up there track. i even got some slicks on 15 inch wheels to go on her when i go to the pod.
am i now baned, for liking my ford, and not having a nissan? http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

That sounds like a quality car! One of my future projects is a MKII Granada with a rover V8 in it. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

As far as i'm aware the RLTC needs the ABS sensors to work.
RLTC does indeed need ABS or at least wheel speed sensors to work.
Have a word with Racelogic and see what they say, then give me shout and Ill get you in on the group buy. You may end up putting ABS hubs on it or something and then get Racelogic to fit it and set it up....
Let me know

now she's cooking! had the racelogic stuff fitted yesterday, got a very good deal. they gave me loads off the price because im going to be racing it up santapod, as long as i have there sticker in the car. traction control is so bloody worth it, its so easy a fast to pull away.
i had two new high lift cams fitted and a nitrous controler fitted to the other day, makes alot of difference. going to get it rolling roaded later today, the guy that fitted the nitrous controler set it up so 0% in 1st, 25% in 2nd, 80% in 3rd and 100% in 4th and 5th. i'm thinking of having the nitrous uped to about 200 hp, have to see what bhp increace the cams have done first. race logic think that if i launch it in 2nd gear with noz on, it could be hitting 60 in 4ish seconds, and a quater in the 12's. be good if it does coz the hole thing cost under £3000 thats with cams, noz, traction control the lot. who wants a race http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

i'm getting 6-8 at the mo! but a do have a fiat uno 998cc to run about in as well, that thing does 50-60 mpg, but gets to 60 in 4 miles
I have A Beach Buggy based on a VW Beetle which I am currently fitting a rover 3.5 V8 into, it ran 16.4@80mph at santa pod last year with an 8valve golf gti lump and knackered clutch,so V8+nitrous should see wheelies and 12-13sec quater mile times!!!
