View Full Version : got mugged today
dont believe this... walking back from canary wharf went to buy far cry and some dvds... gang of 15-16 year olds hanging around under a bridge on the way back... ignore them and walk past... they block me off and ask me for a phone-haven't got one mate -sees the game bag im carrying with my phone in and hits it games credit cards and phone go everywhere. one of them is trying to get the ipod out of my pocket while another on the other side tries to get my wallet out of my other pocket.. ffs... thought Id prioritise and let them take the knackered brick phone and managed to fend them off my ipod wallet and games until I got onto a main road where they backed off.
annoying as hell... i couldve taken any one of them to the cleaners -but so many of them I wasnt prepared to take a kicking for a phone with a busted screen and risk losing my 300 quid ipod. got the phone disabled now so its useless to them...****ing primates if I catch one of them on their own they'd better watch out  .

Innit, the cowardly bastards!!
I allways wonder if I'll grab one of the little scrotes in a situation like that and just break their arm straight away and hope the others get the message not to push me.

Glad you're OK mate
Your health is far more important than your phone, so you did the right thing.

:( sorry to hear that, sadly pack mentality takes over when theres that many, just remember it could have been worse if one of the little scrotes had a knife.
They need to legalise personal security devices such as tasers :D
yeah i was gonna go hunting for them but they didnt look like they were from around here and headed off to the dlr station so it would be pretty useless.. plus Id probably get into more trouble for taking a bat to the little bastards.. I know I did as best as I could given the situation but it doesnt make it any less annoying that Ive lost all my numbers :ghey:

f*cking b*stards :censored:  :censored: sounds similar to my little episode last week being surrounded by a group of lads and one threatening to stab me cos he was scared of how calm i was in the situation, sillence scares!!!!
cant stand it when it takes a bloody army of lads to take one person on, spineless sh*ts.

still, least you are relatively unharmed.
happened in Kingston last year. two victims ended up holding their intestines in with their hands...
editted: not sure of the layout but before you were completely surrounded would a swift punch to the nose followed by a run like buggery have worked at all? (or failing that, elbow to nose at close quarter which should shatter the face. oh i'm serious. i cant tolerate this sort of disrespectful behaviour.)
When I was living in Mile End I got mugged by a bunch of 6 black kids aged 15-20. I always thought I'd be cowardly in such a situation but in this case the prize they were after was my £3k DH bike. I refused to get off of it (they're in a circle around me) and when one of them punches me I retaliated. I managed to land a good hit but then predictably enough they're all lamping me and I'm off the bike.
Even more amazing (given how cowardly I consider myself) is that when I managed to get back to my feet I saw one of them riding my bike away. I sprinted down the road after him and flying-tackled him off the bike - no exaggeration. Seems they'd learnt their lesson - this time they made sure to knock me unconscious before they made off with the bike.
Quite cool TBH, it's a good experience to have had ;)

Yep....sometimes think its the only thing that works.....violence..
I could paint a pretty picture with HIS blood......
You know I was told at Taekwondo that becuase you are classed as a trained fighter. If you hurt someone you would get more severe punishment than someone who is not.....mad world..???

Nothing like this has ever happened to me, but if it did, I would smack the ringleader ASAP as hard as possible, push them in the cannal or whatever, they'd seriously have to hurt me to get anything of mine. :furious:

I've been tempted to get tooled up and just go out walking in known mugging black spots and see what happens.

That sort of thing has happened to me once - five lads surrounded me on a raised pavement (about 4 foot high) - once punched me and I was so surprised I just grabbed him by his jacket and jumped off the pavement, landing him on his back. Hard. I was so enraged I just screamed at them "Right, which one of you fcukers is next?" the one and only time I've ever acted in that way. Luckily it worked and they scarpered leaving their mate groaning in agony in the middle of the road. I gave him a further kick in the ribs, told him to tell his mates never to bother me again or there'd be further repercussions and left him there. Then I shit myself for weeks expecting repercussions. :(

LMFAO :wack: :D
Sorry to hear about it mate!
The main thing is you won, you are still alive and fully functioning, you did lose the Ipod phone etc., and you are covered by house insurance?????
The thing is if you walk around for the rest of your life acting like Charles Bronson, they have won, just carry on being yourself and enjoy life, animals like this will always exist!

Indeed its counted as though you are armed :(
I was always told to pick one of the scrotes and floor them good and proper then leg it. With any luck they will be too busy trying to pick up there flat mate to bother with you ;)
no i didnt lose the ipod or games cards cash etc i picked them all up-just the phone in the end.. and pushed the scum out of the way till the main road  they wouldnt have got anything if the game bag i was carrying wasnt so flimsy. next time ill be ready- i think a smack in the ringleaders mouth and theyd have ran off... although if they didnt id be screwed  .

LOL :D :D :D
little sods..... glad your ok though
only been mugged once, at knifepoint outside Whitworth house on Oxford Road in Manchester, all the repetative training I did paid off cos I don't even remember thinking about what I was gonna do, the little scrote was lucky he was quite fast because the knife certainly scratched his throat when I twisted his wrist and rammed it at him, started thinking then and just booted him in the nuts then hammered my knee into his face when he went down :D
gotta admit, I was buzzing for the rest of the night after that and had a really good night out

Sad to hear that mate :(
F-ing little scrotes
I had a similar experience when I lived in Abbey Hulton - Noise woke me up in the middle of the night - looked out the window - 6 older teenager messing with my car  - ran downstairs pulling my jeans on and picking up the axe I chopped sticks with - burst through the door to be told "its all right m8 just leave it" couldn't believe the cheek! - lifted the axe - half a dozen scrotes falling over themselves to get away :) :smash:
Did my rep no end of good!
Glad they didn't attack because I was angry enough to start dismembering the little s#its and I don't fancy jail much
Golden Rule: If you're outnumbered and it's all going to go off smack the biggest one
Odds on the rest will bottle it.
Mind you, if the streets were policed properly this sort of thing wouldn't be a problem :furious:
Still, the Safety Camera tw@ts help reduce suffering and misery.....

But don't you feel safe in the knowledge that someone who was driving at 33mph has been fined for their criminal behaviour?

Or that someone who drives a car whilst under age, uninsured etc. and nearly kills someone gets probation.
The legal system guarantees to fail just about anyone who is law-abiding and just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If you're a criminal then this is most definately the Country to be in.....
Thanks for all you've done to sort out "crime and the causes of crime", Tony. :indiff:
PS Be a bit f*cking different if your gaff got turned over or your moose-of-a missus got attacked, you smug f*cker.

Sorry to hear about all this.
Ripper, this isn't my golden rule.
Knock the bigger heavy weight to the ground only for the little Bruce Lee type to step up to you. You'd be in trouble then mate!!!
My rule is - you got 3 or 4 red ants crawling up your leg, you can splat them. Got a colony of red ants coming at ya, run for your life.
Size doesn't mean a thing if your outnumbered. All it takes is for a couple of them to keep you busy from the front while another sneaks up and stabs you from behind. Your life is worth more than any inanimate possession you can think of.
Its a no win situation for most of us. If you severely hurt a kid during self defence, you'll probably to do time for it. The law is on the kid's side.
