Hello,
My bro is desperate for buying a uk integra type R.
However we cannot seem to find any!
He is looking to spend at the most maybe 7 K, and he does not want it to be modified.
Obviously milage low (you would for a car like this surely) and im white pref. Maybe a R or p : reg.
Autotrader you can hardly find any, same as on findit .co.uk.
Are we missing something obvious?
Where do you buy these things?
Cheers guys.
You would be hard pushed to get one low milage and especially for so cheap unless you get a very old one and are lucky. The honda website has integras across the country, try autotrader too.

No way, there was one in about 4 weeks ago at my Honda Garage and it was up for sale.
I will have to see if i can dig out the old Job card to see if there is anydetails of the car.
Rich
any particular reason he wants a uk car? I like the lights on the imports
saw a cracking looking mettalic purpley/blue one which must have been a UK car on a T plate today, good cars as they get your attention if you're into jap performance cars more so than bloody scoobies

He loves the dual round.
Import for insurance reasons.
Seirosuly though parkes book price is like 6 Kfor a r redge. Crazy inflated prices on the net.

£7k seems cheap, thought these go for £10k for a really nice example.
nice cars thou, i had a pop the new type R, integra on er a private track
Nah you can get a decent one for 7k if you look well i guess. Although low milers are usually a bit more.
The import deffo looks much sexier
Go to honda-revolutions and put a post up there mate

Ok :indiff:
At this point I have absolutely no idea what you are going on about. I was trying to give friendly advice after taking the thread slightly off topic for which I apologise.
What "ill be buying of Bren" has to do with anything? More so what's it got to do with me? Or the topic in hand come to think of it

oh yeah, you come in with this "logic" you speak of well yeah baby!
I liek your car
and thats the end of it
god damnit man!
Ok here's my logic
Asking advice on a 200sx forum about buying a Honda instead of a Honda forum, and being obviously either a) in no fit state to post a sensible comment or b) just not bothering to type properly - is just a bit far from logical
If you want to know about buying a Honda - the Club I suggested is situated here:
www.hondarevolutions.com
Is that helpful enough to get you off my back then? :indiff:

tbh i was being teh mean, pulsar has ridiculous bonnet vent and when guy see that its like "shit shit. guys.. fire our shit (( press pedal(((s))) in sequence)).
I like pulsar. Looks mean and nasty which is end of the day what they are. We are teh mean and nasty and have silly big power and are going to eat you whole (( )) type affair. I think y bro is after the old style type r styling to be honest. and that vtec "wail" is always nice.
aint no dump valve though.....

Mate of mine's got a White S-plate UK Integra type R. He was trying to sell it a while ago but couldn't. I'll ask him at work if he's still wanting to sell it.
Often have a little blast with him down the country roads after work. It makes my poor little mk1 mr2 look silly :(
Before an Integra R is considered you have to have a ride in one just to sample the, er, ride 'quality'.
There isn't any.
Just a thought. You can carry on, now.

Cheers for the replies guys, we cant seem to find a type R near enough to go out in!
Will try at the weekend.
Thanks again.
i bought my integra type r a few weeks ago, so farm am nothing but impressed by it.
considering some of my previous cars (mitsi 3000gt, 200sx (s13)) i enjoy driving this car, its economical during normal driving, accelerates like a bitch when you put your foot down and get into 'v-tec'.
they are quite a bumpy ride, but ive been in a lot worse, only a matter of days till i was confident enough to start flinging it into corners, and it holds the road really well.
as for a girly car????
some people (me included) have always classed mr2's as girly cars, but hey, if thats what you think, fine, i aint got no probs there.
check out this site for more owners poss selling theirs
http://www.itr-dc2.com/forum/index.php
the lad i bought mine off initially wanted £7800 for it, i got it for £6100.
98 r reg, white, full main dealer service history, air-con, and a few mods as well.
if you stick your neck out a bit, you'll be able to knock quite a few quid off one.
good hunting mate, wont regret it

jesus that is what i call a reduction :D how did you manage to get that much off???
I think this is the wrong time of the year to be buying one of these cars. IMHO these cars are excellent, very econonical (if kept out of VTEC) and the handling is incredible doesn't need any mods whatsoever. The thing is these cars sell well anyway and people probably want them more with the good weather. If you could wait until winter I am sure you could get a better buy. For 7K I reckon you could get a 98 car with about 60K on it. Thing is if you look after it, and keep it in good order you will always sell it on as these cars have very good resale values as I am sure you are aware. Top car though, I personally like the UK car better too looks wise
i got it from a lad who lives in darlington craig, but i think he has work or university in newcastle.
how did i get so much off??? luck and cheek probably!! he took a few bits off it to sell seperately, and it needed cv joints doing.
the problem with em is, its a select market, if there's no-one who actually wants one, you'll never sell it, so when someone comes along, (and your desperate to sell) you let it go for a reasonable price
mine is uk and i prefer it too, prefer the round headlights

Just been out for a spin in an Integra Type R. I'm very impressed.
The VTEC thingy is very noticeable, hits about 6.5k and takes off like a rocket and keeps on revving for ever.
The handling is unbelievable as well - he was really giving it some welly, but the car just seemed very stable in the corners, with only an occasional little bit of understeer. It felt more secure on the road than my mr2
Says he's not sure he wants to sell it any more though.
