Me and Jeff from this board bought this between us to thrash sound some tracks and maybe try some drifting too - save us smashing up our S13s! :o

She's a 1984 Capri 2.8i. Needs a bit of work but she's already stripped out and fitted with bucket seats! :D

Only cost £150 too :)

The :ghey: bonnet scoop has been removed btw

Capris are great, such an English Mustang :)

The person that bought that scoop needs to be hunted down and shot though ..... I dont even think our corsa boiz would do something that sick !

We bought it from the Classic Car Club Bristol, it was one of their mechanics who fitted it

A suprising lack of taste for a man who spends all day fixing and polishing some really nice classic cars

I love the rest of it tho ;)

Nice one lads,

A few drift scars and it'll look well 'ard  :)

Can I bagsy a passenger ride if you take her on track?

Why don't you try and sell the bonnet scoop to the MP boys, they'd love that kind of shite :D

Don't see why you can come out in it mate, might be a while before we get it ready tho 'coz we're lazy :wack:

Would do, but we don't have the scoop, the previous owner liked it so much he took it off before selling the car :ghey:

if it's a 2.8i special its got LSD, but it seems to have the early 2.8i pepperpot wheels indicating its not a special

That's what I thought to start with, but I'm not sure 'cos it had the pepperpot wheels and cloth interior. Might be one of the very last non-LSD 2.8i's :(

It is confusing tho, 'cos I thought after 1984 they were all Specials. I saw a Special on an 'A' plate the other day too, and ours is a 'B' plate...

The Capri smokes and rattles less ;) I would say it's quieter but the exhaust on the Capri has been binned in favour of some straight, unsilenced, unmuffled bits of 2 inch pipework exiting from the sides of the car :wack: It's loud enough to wake the dead   :D Gonna have to sort that for track days though :(

The previous owners planned to fit nitrous and blow it up, but gave up and sold it to us poor.... I mean lucky, sods instead :D

If anyone knows of a Capri being broken or somewhere good to get spares we need some kind of exhaust system :wack: and some bolts to hold the seatbelts in place as ours have been thrown away  Plus a load of other bits we've probably not even noticed yet

Anytime, especially if you're any good at fitting those crappy replacement windscreen wiper rubbers  :annoyed: :furious: :D

Might bring it to the next Longwell meet

Good idea about bringing it to the next meet Jeff - I'll drive, as long as I can give your name if I get stopped by the Rozzers :wack: :D
