View Full Version : N4 AMM - RIP
At 3pm today I killed my car. Even in its death it protected me and my passenger enabling us to walk away virtually unscathed, but the car is a total loss.
A moment of peace please:

Sorry to hear that, glad you're both OK.
That's a real bummer, you haven't had it that long either, still at the end of the day it's a piece of metal and your both ok, that's the main thing.
What happened?

BEING THE SARCASTIC SH** THAT I AM I WOULD NORMALLY MAKE SOME KIND OF WISE CRACK....BUT I WOULD'NT WISH THIS ON MY WORST ENEMY. JUST REMEMBER THE CAR IS REPLACEABLE, WHERE AS LIFE IS NOT ( UNLESS YOU'RE A HINDU.....) KEEP YA CHIN UP M8.

Well thats the thing, that car was a complete minter. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
Still keef'll rise up from it and get another one.
Ar5e http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
But Keith could always get one with lower mileage or a different colour (not white) or the 6 speed manual, though he may have had this on the White Whale MKIV.
Just trying to point out that good things can come from bad.......

Aye twas a 6 speeder and low milage, but there ARE more like it so it isn't the end of the world.
Cheers guys.
Problem is, that car was utterly, utterly immaculate inside and out, so while I'll find a new one, I doubt it'll be as good. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
Yeah, they have TC as standard - but the TC was actually a major contributor to the accident (after me)!
I was to blame for the inital slide, but if it hadn't cut the power half way through the inital slide (the stock TC is so poo is doesn't cut in until a second or two after traction is lost), then there wouldn't have been a weight shift forwards, the back would have remained pretty controllable, and wouldn't have snapped round, and even if it had it wouldn't, as I was about 90 degrees round, have decided its work was done and give me all my power back, resulting in a sudden shooting forwards and into the railings.
When I get a new one, RLTC *will* be being fited *instantly*.
Glad your OK though.
Was it stock or played with?
Keep your chin up http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Glad you're OK.
At the end of the day, life is more precious than a car.
Woah, bummer http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif Although you can always get a nice new car, you still kind of bear the scars http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
I remember a big one I had in my first car, I had to climb out of the passenger door - which was above me at the time! Felt pretty bad for a while, but eventually got bigger and better cars http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif
