View Full Version : Coppers or Nobbers
............ deffinatly nobbers http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/mad.gif
Got a 7 day producer this afternoon for absolutly nothing.
Been to the garage to get my lambda sensor fitted, and was on my way home when I get pulled over by a patrol car.
Her said there had been reports of my car tearing round the local town center and nearly knocked over a woman in a pram.
I tried and tried to explain where I had been for the last 3-4 hours (at garage chatting whilst having sensor fitted), and he blaitently said he didnt belive me. Anyway, I kept protesting my innocence as he began suggesting I always drive my car like a nutter, and he has seen me doing it, as soon as I really stumped him down by saying my car had been off the road for the last 3 months he gave me a producer http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/mad.gif
Have they got nothing better to do, still I suppose stopping motorists beats the more minor crimes like murder, rape, robbery.....

Complain, get your alibi and then make sure you get an apology where by he has to apologise face to face.
Egocentric tw@! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/mad.gif
Jezz.
Sorry mate. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif Some coppers get off on that sort of thing. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

Yep, make a complaint - if you can prove your car has been off the road and you were in a garage, it could be quite satisfying http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

You should have asked him for the name of his commanding officer. Then
Write a polite letter explaining about your poor treatment and why the officer was so rude in your opinion.
Ask him how you should go about making a formal complaint about the officer and ask for an explanation for his obnoxious behaviour.
Then you could make a formal complaint or just leave it at that. You will have made your point, he will have sweated and got grief either way, and you can feel happy that the grief you recieved has benn somewhat paid back.
Either way it warrants a letter. The police are supposed to be public servants. We pay their wages and buy there fast cars. In actual fact, their fast cars are mine to some extent. Well I bloody paid towards them.
Anyway, police officers should remain impartial and polite at all times. I know it might be difficult for them in some circumstances but they should be trained to deal professionally with awkward individuals. Hell, I manage not to kill the children in my school and some of them are well irritating. Yes - a letter is needed because it is a serious matter. Even if it is just to make a point.
Go for it.

That's fecking harassment mate! He's pulled you because your car looks a bit like another one that's been naughty, and he's proceeded to treat you like you're guilty, with no proof whatsoever. If you exchange the noisy red car for a black guy, well you see where I'm going with this....
Give him some grief. They can't be allowed to get away with this stuff, or we'll never be a "civilised" society!
Arrogant tw@t! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/mad.gif

Thing is, you give him grief and he'll forever be looking out for you.

And if you don't he knows he can get away with it again. At least if it's reported it's down on record. You never know, it may be the one that gets him taken off the beat. I know the Buddhistic thing to do would be to let it happen, but even Buddhists have to be pragmatists sometimes. No, anyone with the slightest hint of social responsibility should feel duty bound to report such transgressions.

And you'll have a history of complaints against him, so he will be in even more shlt.

at the time its not that easy to start getting lippy bout your rights as i found when the tw*t did it to me but if you can build up an airtight case i agree with the guys here , you may well have him by the boll*cks this time.
No point trying to avoid trouble and forget about it cos if the c*nt did it once he`ll do it again.
Get him collared by his boss.
He`ll think twice next time.
And he`ll look dodgey if he ever hs to pull you for anything again.
If you have a TOTALLY bullet proof alibi and the copper was making the lot up then take a look at the bottom of the producer. It should have his name and collar number and possibly the station he comes from on it (maybe in code). You can either write a letter to the Superintendant of his nick or when you go in to produce your docs, state you with to make a complaint about the officers conduct to his Inspector. You must have a good alibi and not have been at fault yourself otherwise it may well backfire on you. Depends on how strongly you feel about it really.

I've dealt with a fair few kn0bhead coppers in my time (used to work a lot of shifts) and then they wonder why Plod get such a bad press.
Then there's the obsession by the Govt. and senior Plod to nail everybody doing 31mph at 3 a.m. while master criminals burgle old ladies etc...
As I've said before, they are not all the same, but is it any wonder they get such a bad press?
And Traffic Plod......do think they're all the bee's knees or what!??!??
