Laser wheel alignment in my area?

Hello

Had my car serviced yesterday, and the officious b@stards wouldn't release it because the front tyres were worn down to the cords (corduroy?!). I'd given them a quick look over recently and there was LOADS of tread left, but it seems the inside edge was completely bald!

Anyway, my guess is the suspension is out of whack and I need to get it aligned properly. Any of you folk got a place to recommend? I know Vez went to RC, but I'd prefer somewhere on the Eastern side of the pennines if possible. I've read before that you shouldn't just get a tyre place to do it, and should go to a place who know about all aspects of suspension.

So any recommendations?

Vinny, i'm gonna be taking mine to Thistlethwaites (sp?) in bolton. They are a tyre place but apparently do loads of set up work for track cars.

If you want somewhere on the dark side then you may need to go to a farrier :D He may be able to straighten t'legs on't orse for thee.

I've been recommended a place in York (where I work). Again it is a tyre place but supposed to be good at 4-wheel alignment.

Do I need to take any msettings to give them or will they know what the set ups are?
