Hell yes, I play a LOT. We should get ourselves organised and have a regular racing/drifitng night...

Oh and I will be attempting that technique above in the next drift round :):):D

Steve, get ready for it!!

yeah I really wanna play too, been neglecting it a bit really...

I just like drifting as opposed to actual proper racing but thats just my excuse for not winning ;)

I'll have to get playing again, I haven't really played LFS in a while because my mate who I used to do fun race/drift sessions in GPL, GTR2002, M3 Mod for F1 2002, and LFS got a girlfriend and stopped playing. :furious:

I'd be up for some fun drift sessions, twin drifting in LFS is top stuff.

is there a quick way of getting the points up yeager?
is it 1 point for every car you beat?

just host a race on expert level with as few laps as possible and beat everyone for maximum points (7 or 8 per race I think)

Or we could host a race and let you win 4/5 races.. We did this for Jim I think

This is the way to get loads of points!

Make a shi$, i mean really bad Setup, select it so it on your car then exit back to the pre race screen in single player mode, now going back into the race and select as may as you can AI Cars to race with you, now they will all have the same SHI$ setup as you, go into the pit before the race and select the standard race setup and race them, they will slide of the track and not be able to move because of there crap setup,

and you can potter around the couse and win every time

It's all a waste of time, just spend a few quid on a steering wheel and pedals, it's the only way to play PC car games.

i was tempted to get a force feedback wheel but that's money that could be spent on my 200 :)

true but drifting on the PC is much safer and doesn't wear your tyres down very noticably for some reason :)

cough, one of my friends left his act labs RS force feedback wheel + pedals (with analog clutch) + manual shifter here :)

£250-300 after import tax and the rest of it

i have played the lfs demo, but it seems a tad daft that the developers are saying that each 'stage' of the game is going to be sold as a seperate game. so next stage, another £12 or whatever, then the next etc etc.

Yeah I used to be mates with the guys at Act-Labs, did a bit of tech support help on the forums.

Top gear, pedals are flimsy as anything though.

I've got a modified Force RS, painted case, real steering wheel mounted, shifter with a real gearknob on it and the pedals, and I've spent years twin drifting in Grand Prix Legends and other sims with mates online. Top stuff, really fun, and taught me how to drift/drive/etc.
