Just heard on the radio that they might be cancelling next years F1 GP at silverstone cuz if **** access to it........

Maybe go ahead in 2003 if they get the problem sorted....

F1 calendar just won't be the same without it!!
i love to see the british guys beating the germans french brazlian and so on.....even better on home soil!!!!

HMMMMMMMMM F1 ... I fail to be excited or interested in it, unless they do some technical blarb on the cars before a race and hint at new peak power outputs or something. The racing is just too dull, reliant on pit stops to generate overtaking potential.

perhaps it would be more interesting if they did like "figure of 8" track in stock cars...imagine that, chicken at 200mph. get rid of traction control.....more to the point i don't go to silverston because the access is so poor......plus £150 would pay for a pair of tyres.

F1zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz qualifying session is the best bit, at least theres a bit of competion going on to get the best times.

Wouldn't pay to watch F1 at Silverstone, it's a total rip off. Was in Australia in March this year and luckly was in Melbourne for the G.P. It cost me about 30 quid to get in!!! I think it's about 70 quid over here. I stood right next to the barriers and watched Villeneuve wreck his car right before my naked steaming eyes!!!!

For some reason, which I am increasingly baffled about, I suspect I will continue to watch F1 next season. But WHY????? I always fall asleep during the races 'cos with one or two (unpredictable) exceptions they are generally terminally boring. And Silverstone? Too expensive and, frankly, down at heel. Why not have it at Donington -a much better racing circuit? I continue to believe that GT racing is a MUCH better prospect. Some great racing, that usually lasts much longer than the pathetic two hours max. that F1 can manage. There's plenty of it in the season, the races are cheap to get into...and like I always say the ultimate motor race in the world is the big job at le Mans in June (HEY DIDIER...you got spare beds????) Best long weekend anyone could wish for.

Nah, seriously tho - I used to be in to it and Ive seen two GP's at Silverstone. Both times I went a GB driver went on to win the championship ('92, Mansell and '96, Hill)

And the price was over £80 last time I looked!
