anything else anyone could say???
Thanks

tin worms! :)
they're alot less complex than s13s due to a lack of turbo, so just make sure the engine sounds ok etc :) see how it feels cold, see how it drives warm, etc etc.
and maybe an 86 owner can speak about them ;) ? pazza ? hachiroku ?
Pazza will no doubt give you far more advice than I can, but I'll try :)
Firstly, rust... it's the thing that seems to come standard on ALL 86's, sadly with very little choice of them, sometimes you just have to accept that it's an old car, and you might not get another chance for one. Check the sills, arches, pockets, petrol cap, engine bay and also check the sunroof for leaking.
Make sure mechanically it's ok, though normally 4AG's are very hard, and take LOT'S of punishment. when you start it cold, don't be shocked to see it idle at 2k, thats fine, after it's warmed up it should drop to about 800-1000 normally.
Gearboxes are normally very good, though I used to find shifting into 2nd a bugger when it was cold, though it could of just been mine.
Just to let you know, they are very expensive to get running, but you won't regret it.... I still miss mine so much, and to think that Tanj and Skip used to giggle like schoolgirls driving it.... means it must be good, considering both of them had/have well over 250bhp cars.
If you have any other questions or what ever, I will certainly try and help, I never get bored of talking about them :)
