Hi guys,

I just replaced my thermostat etc and its all sealed up now and coolant is in, but i forgot to place the stupid jiggle valve (small bell shape thingy) towards the top of the thermostat. Ive no idea what this does, or if it will have any effects being in a random posistion?

Thanks

Paz

The little notch bit at the top of the thermostat? It's to let air through

Yeah, but im not sure where i placed it :( Does it just help with the process of ridding air locks from the system? If thats the case, then id guess when the termostat opens it wouldnt do much anyway?

Thanks

Dont worry about it, a lot of replacement thermostats dont come with the jiggle pin anyway.
