Any idea?

I've making a spread sheet of cambers for my car so I don't ahve to keep working it out but i cant find a function that will find the inverse tan of a number.

Theres tan that gives the tangent of an angle but i want to go the other way, tangent to angle. Anyone know???

doesn't seem to work. :(

It jsut spits out the same number (almost) as I put in.

eg ATAN(0.025) = 0.02499

where tan-1 (0.025) is 1.4deg.

Or is this a radians/degrees thing?

think you will find it converts it to rads so need to change it to deg

so to change to degrees i do what?

2 x pi radians in a circle yeah?
so (my answer/(2 x pi)) * 360?

Yay it works, cheers. :)

I'm too old for all this maths bollarks.
