Mine only moans about how much time and money I spend on it.
Luckily she like's me driving fast and racing, but only in the dry. She get's a bit tense when Im flooring it the wet.

S'funny this, the oil in the garden thing really made me think about it. I reckon mine only dislikes it because i seem to be working on it alot. When we are out and about she laughs if some whipper snapper tries to race and sometimes eggs me on. She used to get on the back of the bike with me and seems pretty fearless actually. Come to think of it im quite lucky really. My car however gets jealous of the girlfriend and makes me take it out on its own at a weekend.

Mine doesn't wait till it warms up and floors it, has kerbed the alloys and ground the exhaust out and even lets it run real low on petrol, but she naff give it some stick and loves to race little boy racers !!!
Picks me up from the pub in it, the looks I get !!!

S13 - Lots of Mods
I do get the 'you think more of the car than you do of me' bit.
Deep down I think she likes it (she does say that she liked the colour of the 1st one I had - dark blue - but that's the only thing).
If I put my foot down she stares at the speedo and if I carry on will say 'alright'- which is girly code for 'that'll do'.
However, she goes on engine note so I get a stare when, say, I'm pulling away up a hill at 40-odd but may not get one doing 100 down a hill on a motorway or decent D/Carriageway with my foot just touching the loud pedal.
On the other hand she was with me when someone wrote my second one off at a set of traffic lights (got T-boned) so, as she's alright about getting in this one, they can't be all bad, can they?

Mine thinks its a money pit, which takes up all the cash she'd like to spend on frocks and shoes.
Not a lot cos she hates anything faster than a tractor.
In fact on the way back from Le Mans she went in a mates car and her husband came with me.
We had a blo*dy good laugh though (see post on Theoretical Question)

Mine likes the car, hates the way it is driven. She don't give me too much stick or get arsey tho'.
She never learnt to drive so she'll have to put up with it until she does learn, then I'm sure when she has a go in it she'll come round.

My girlfriend doesn't mind too much although she worries about the "other idiots" on the rd. I get the odd how much!!! but as long as i cop for my half of every thing she's cool.
She has driven it but doesn't like the clutch, and considering she has a new ka i'm not surprised.
We had a lancia thema turbo and i told her to floor it as we came out of a garage and it was a bit tight there was a car comming. She did and we had the biggest inside outside lane wheel screeching incident ever. Still she spoke to me again after about an hour and just the one filthy look.
She then let slip she had a race with a porche upto 120mph. She recons she just didn't realise how fast she was going. I won't let her drive mine now unless supervised. I definatly won't let her park it as she does a good impression of Stevie Wonder parking a juggernaut. Although she did lol at dave_s13's Fu(kin shut up woman the car was suppose to slide like that.
She says she gets the worst time as I'm a dreadfull passenger who even tells her when to say thank you to people who give way to her. Her biggest complaint is when I'm getting in someones face she tells me to leave more distance and clutches the seat if their brake lights come on, i keep telling her i've paid good money for theses brakes, dam if i'm not gonna use them. But she'l always egg me on when some little sh*te box nova tries to give it large and she was all for a trip to sant pod rwyb, she wanted to take it up the strip. My biggest concern is she'l beat my time. AND THEN SHE WOULD BE INSUFFERABLE.

My birds one of those quiet ones, who dont say anything until the actions over.. She laughs at the boy racers in their novas, but just doesn't 'get' the tuning thing. Not that she disaproves, she doesn't get it.

Mine spent some time living in the States, where she had a Corvette ZR1. She reckons the 200 drives pretty similar, and SLIDES pretty similar!!! She does suffer from lead right foot though.
She hated my 323i Coupe. But then so did I.
I bought her a GSi3000, which she took to 130mph.
I bought her a Cavalier SRi, which she took to 130mph.
I didn't let her out in my Calibra Turbo.
She moans when I slide and thats about it really. Better than my Mum who punched me in the face one afternoon when i gave her a lift home from town. The only problem I had with that was I was driving at the time! Nice one mum.

Be interested i dunks reply, i outdraged one of these from the lights not so long ago. And he was definately going for, revving the engine, squealing tyres the lot. And he was VERY pissed off that i pulled away from him. When i approached traffic and slowed down he pulled the most outrageous overtaking manouvre, riping the wing mirror and rear bumper from an oncoming car. I stopped to help the driver but GSI man didn't...
Bit wary now about racing anyone if that's the reaction i get. Like fast driving, don't like messing up people's lives.
