MitchC's Drift Land!!!

Massive thanks to MitchC for letting me and my mate have a drift session on his airfield today. :notworthy

It gave me chance to get to terms with my new Skyline, and my mate chance to enjoy drifting for the first time in his MR2.

After a couple of spins off the grey stuff and into the green stuff, i managed to come away without any major battle scares. My friend however wasn't quite as lucky :cry:

I now have access to an airfield but i can`t drift on it coz i`ll get kicked off due to noise :cry: :cry:

Yes it is on my doorstep, but I didn't go on about it as I can't kick the arse out of it, which is why everyone wasn't told and able to play. I'm still pants at drifting because I can't use it all the time, as there's a golf course and fishing lake in the same area, and I'm half expecting to be banned soon if they complain, because we used a spot as far away as possible from them.

I didn't realise how noisy drifting was until I was warned off the other day for having a 15 minute sesh, as the Police Sergeant came to have a go cos he could hear me from the other side of camp :eek: . I didn't get proper bollocked, though, as I know the bloke, and I also had permission for that lunchtime.

Looking back at the video you seem to be getting the car at the right angle, holding it, then it spins out.

IF you do go out practicing again - Watch out for those trees!!
